A privacy policy for your app, at a URL that doesn't change.
Google Play and App Store Connect both ask for a privacy policy URL. Add your app, answer a short checklist about what it does, and publish a plain-English policy hosted on applist.info. It's free.
Add the app, answer the checklist, publish.
You need an account for this, so every policy has someone accountable behind it. Signing in takes a Google account and a handle.
Add your app
Paste its Google Play, App Store or GitHub link. The name, icon and developer come from the listing, and the same app on several stores becomes one entry.
Answer the checklist
Eight yes-or-no questions about what the app does. The answers decide which sections the policy includes. Then read it and edit anything that doesn't fit; it can't be published while a placeholder is still waiting for your details.
Publish and paste the URL
Publishing gives the policy a version number and an effective date. Before each publish, you confirm you've read it and consulted your legal representative. The dashboard shows the URL with a Copy button and the exact place it goes in Play Console and App Store Connect.
What the checklist asks
You answer once per app. The same answers set up the terms, support and account deletion pages, so the four documents agree with each other.
- let people create accounts?
- let people post or upload content?
- show ads?
- sell subscriptions or in-app purchases?
- use analytics?
- use crash reporting?
- ask for device permissions (camera, location, photos)?
- keep all data on the device?
The published policy opens with an At a glance table: each kind of data the app collects, why, whether it's linked to the person, and who it's shared with. If the app collects nothing, it says so in one line.
Where to paste it
The address looks like applist.info/l/t0nxlh/privacy. It stays the same when you rename the app or change your handle. Each publish adds a version; earlier ones stay readable, with the changed sections marked.
App Store Connect → your app → App Privacy → Privacy Policy URL
Play Console → Policy and programs → App content → Privacy policy

Questions
Is this legal advice?
No. applist.info generates a draft from your answers for you to give to your legal team, and nobody at applist.info reviews what you publish. Before each publish you confirm that you've read the document and consulted your legal representative, and that applist.info only hosts the text.
Is it free?
Yes. applist.info is free to use, and that includes the hosted legal pages.
Will the URL change if I rename the app or my handle?
No. The address is plus a short id that belongs to the app, not to its name or your handle. Paste it into the store once and leave it there.
What happens when I change the policy?
You publish a new version. The page shows the new version number and effective date, marks the sections that changed since the previous version, and links to every earlier version with its date.
Will Google Play and the App Store accept the URL?
Both ask for a public web page, and that's what this is: it loads without JavaScript, cookies or signing in, so a reviewer can open it anywhere. What it says still has to match what your app does and what you declared in the store.
Can I get it as plain text?
Yes. Every policy has a plain-text copy at the same address with on the end, and a Copy as plain text button on the page.
What happens if I delete the app?
Its legal pages stay live for 30 days so your store listings don't break. After that, the address says the document was removed by its developer.
