Privacy at applist.info

Effective 6 October 2026

This covers applist.info itself. The privacy policies we host for apps belong to their developers and describe those apps.

The short version

  • We store what you need for your page: your Google name, email address and photo, and the links and text you add.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels. We don't sell or rent anything about you.
  • Public pages make no requests to other companies. Images are served through our own domain.
  • Cookies are only for signing in and a few settings, listed below.

What we store when you sign in

We use Google only to sign you in. Google tells us your name, email address, profile photo and a Google account id. We don't ask for, and can't see, anything from Gmail, Drive or your other Google data. Your email address is never shown on your page.

What you add

Your handle, the name and sentence on your page, your profile links, and the app and website links you paste. For each link we fetch the public listing from Google Play, the App Store, GitHub or the website, and keep a copy of what it says: name, icon, screenshots, rating, version and similar. Legal pages you publish are stored with every published version, because the stores link to them.

All of this is public on your page except your email address and anything you mark as hidden.

Lists made without an account

If you make a share list at applist.info/new, we store the links and the optional name and sentence you enter. Anyone with the link can see the list. A cookie in your browser lets you claim the list later.

Cookies

  • Session: keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out.
  • pending_add: remembers the app you previewed on the home page while you sign in. Lasts one hour.
  • anon_claim: lets the browser that made a share list claim it.
  • theme: your light or dark choice, only if you pick one.

Visiting someone's page or a hosted legal page sets no cookies.

Who else is involved

  • Google, to sign you in.
  • Google Play, the App Store, GitHub and the websites you link to. Our servers fetch them, not your browser.
  • The companies that host our servers and database. They store the data above on our behalf.

Our servers see your IP address with each request. We use it to limit how many links one visitor can preview and to stop abuse, and we don't combine it with anything else.

Deleting your data

Settings has a Delete account button. Your page and apps disappear at once. Legal pages stay up for 30 days so app store listings that link to them don't break, then they are removed together with the rest of your account data. You can also email us and we'll delete it for you.

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for us to correct it, at any time.
