Tallyho is developed by Okafor Labs. This page explains how to delete your Tallyho account and the data linked to it, what we delete, what we keep and why, and how long it takes.

To request deletion now, email privacy@okafor.example (mailto:privacy%40okafor.example?subject=Account%20deletion%20request) with the subject "Account deletion request". Send it from the email address on your account.

Before you delete

- Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. You'll keep being charged until you cancel it in the store:
  - iPhone or iPad: Cancel a subscription from Apple (https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428)
  - Android: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481)
- Deletion is permanent. You can't undo it. If you sign up again later, you'll start with an empty account.

Option 1: Delete in the app

1. Open Tallyho and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again.

Your account is signed out on every device right away. Deletion of your data then proceeds as described below.

Option 2: Delete without the app

If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in:

1. Email privacy@okafor.example (mailto:privacy%40okafor.example?subject=Account%20deletion%20request) from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request".
2. If you signed in with Apple using "Hide My Email", tell us the relay address shown in Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple → Tallyho.
3. We'll reply to confirm the request came from you. We won't ask for your password.
4. We'll email you again when deletion is complete.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:

- your account profile (name, email address, sign-in identifiers);
- your settings and preferences;
- push notification tokens and device records.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep some data after deletion when we have to by law or need it for security. It is not used for anything else.

How long deletion takes

- Your account is closed and you're signed out immediately when you confirm in the app, or within 7 days of us verifying an email request.
- Your data is removed from our live systems within 30 days.
- Remaining copies in backups are overwritten within 90 days.

We'll email you when deletion is complete.
